Job Title: Pool Solar Heating Technician

Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 4- 10hr shifts + overtime available as needed

Pay: Hourly wage (DOE) + Commission available

Responsibilities
⦁ Installation of pool solar heating systems. Including but not limited to sealing roof attachments, equipment racking supports and solar panels
⦁ Knowledge of plumbing required
⦁ Perform all construction tasks per manufacturer’s installation guidelines
⦁ Perform site survey activities independently or with a team
⦁ Review job installation plan with Crew Lead
⦁ Assist in tracking inventory for each project
⦁ Prepare, load, and organize installation vehicles per installation requirements
⦁ Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
⦁ Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service pool solar heating systems
⦁ Maintain and clean up the job site
⦁ Properly use Personal Protective Equipment

Physical Requirements
⦁ Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily
⦁ Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs., daily
⦁ Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily
⦁ Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly (lunges) daily
⦁ Comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc.)
⦁ Comfortable working on roofs of all heights and different slopes/ pitches
⦁ Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, etc.)

Qualifications
⦁ Valid state driver’s license & clean driving record
⦁ US work authorization
⦁ Plumbing Experience
⦁ Basic knowledge of solar installation is required
⦁ Reliable and good attendance.
⦁ Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
⦁ Attention to detail and organizational skills.
⦁ Excellent communication skills.
⦁ Must have a positive attitude.
⦁ Reliable transportation to and from work.
⦁ Team player, respectful to coworkers and those around you
⦁ Respectful to homeowners and their property
